Why Families & Tutors Love Simply Smart's Legendary Language Arts?
- Meaningful, Real-World Writing: Students bypass the busy work and engage in purposeful projects that are creative, engaging, and practical. They do not just learn to write — they learn to present ideas clearly and share them effectively across multiple formats.
- Literature Based Learning: Interactive lessons bring literature to life. Books can be selected based on interest or integrated with other subjects, creating rich cross-curricular connections.
- Great for Co-ops & Family Learning: While the grammar lessons work best for children at a similar level, the writing and style projects are easily adaptable for multiple ages, making the program perfect for co-ops & families.
- Flexible: Writing and style lessons can be taught in any order based on needs & interests. Students can use their "passport" book to track concepts studied.
- Writing Templates: When students are learning to write, they are often overwhelmed by the blank page before them. Our writing projects use templates, giving the students an easy visual guide to follow as they transfer their thoughts into coherent writing.
- Comprehensive. Covers literature, grammar & composition, starting with basic sentence skills & continuing through high school. Multiple genres of writing are explored, including practical writing, expository, persuasive, and creative writing.
